The Sentinel - Cinderella - 9 December 2016
Here is a feature write-up I did under the 'On Stage' section of The
Sentinel which usually appears on a Friday. For this week I met up with Johnny Wilkes at The Regent Theatre for a quick chat to find out more about his lead panto role in Cinderella. He is amazingly friendly and so easy to chat with. I had about 10-15 minutes (during his break) to chat with him about his role and why he keeps coming back to The Regent year after year.
I was also lucky enough to watch the panto with my family and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Christian Patterson who not only wrote the script but also plays the part of one of the step sisters did an amazingly funny job as people from all ages enjoyed it! The show ran at The Regent Theatre for almost a month with full house everytime.
The Sentinel is based in Hanley in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. local newspaper has over 141k weekly readers with over 56k Twitter followers as well more than 84k likes on Facebook. It also has more than 6.5million page views.
