The Sentinel - Stand by Me - 3 February 2017

Here is a feature write-up I did under the 'On Stage' section of The Sentinel which usually appears on a Friday. For this week, I met up with Michael Williams and Betty Crookes at The Regent Theatre. It was great to chat with the both of them as they shared what was expected in the Stand by Me musical. I enjoyed listening to Michael's American accent as he spoke about the group's harmonies while Betty spoke to me about the choreography and their extensive costumes.  Michael co-wrote Stand by Me and was one of the Drifters. The musical was performed at The Regent Theatre for one night.
