Makan Makan With Xandria Ooi (Mother's Day Special)
I had the opportunity to dine with local celebrity Xandria Ooi and her mum, Susan for our Mother's Day special write-up. We headed to their favourite hang out spot at Hanazen, a Japanese Restaurant at Jaya One in PJ.
We had such a fun time chatting over lunch about everything under the sky. I got to know that Susan used to run the ever loved reader's corner in Subang Parade some time back, which was a well loved spot. She now works as Xandria's manager. Xandria on the other hand is very passionate about people and her job which involves emcing, presenting and radio deejaying.
The food served in Hanazen was delicious, fresh and tasty and the service there is quick too although I'd refer The Grand Dorset's Japanese Restaurant's (Miyako) green tea ice-cream anytime. But the main course and the sweet red beans were delicous that its hard to hand-pick my favourite dish there.
